1864年創業のスコットランドの老舗ファブリックメーカーHALLEY STEVENSONSの代名詞ワックスドコットンを仕立てたダッフルバッグです。

HALLEY STEVENSONSはイラクサ、亜麻、綿の天然繊維からこの生地を織りました。自然の環境にやさしく見た目も美しい上、実用的な強度と撥水性をあわせもっています。

ただし僕がアップサイクルで使う他のシェル生地のように強力な防水性はありません。Nikwax®を使用してバックパックの外側に撥水加工を施すことをお勧めします。
もちろんTRUCE DESIGNS標準のシームシールライナーはバッグの中身を雨水などからしっかり守ります。

僕ルーク（とハンク）は工場から廃棄されるはずのスクラップ生地に新たな命を縫い込み、使い勝手が良くて、長く使えるバッグをポートランドからみなさんにお届けします。
